Workspace

Once a connection is open, everything happens in one window. The session tab strip runs across the top, the connections and file explorer panels sit on the left, the terminal is docked at the bottom of the editor column, and the AI panel is on the right.

This section covers the parts of the window you use after connecting. For getting connected in the first place, see Connections; for the panel on the right, see Using the AI panel.

  • Sessions and tabs — how sessions open as tabs, how many you can run at once, what auto-reconnect does when a link drops, and how to detach a session into its own window for a second monitor.
  • The terminal — the terminal itself: rendering, search within scrollback, copy and paste, the analysis context menu, the local shell, and the settings that change its behaviour.
  • Built-in tools — the seven tools that ship inside the workbench, from SSH port forwarding to the live system monitor.
